Seven years later, when I saw a worried-looking foreign tourist in Tenjin, I spoke to her and told her how to get to Hakata Station in English. That was the moment I realized my English stepped out of “the world of classroom English” into “the world of practical English.” After that, I continued to learn and changed jobs so that I could use English some more. A couple of months ago, I met Tim and Jaimie and was offered a job at Kensington and after hearing their vision for the future I was completely blown away, I now have a feeling of being part of something really special and I am sure that once you come and meet us, you will feel so too.
I’m not only the staff here but also a learner, so I’m hoping I’ll be able to help you more thoughtfully and considerately. Tomoyo Yamashita
