Today I’ll introduce you another health related idiom, it’s “just what the doctor ordered” and it means exactly what I needed right now. On hot summer days like today it’s usually a very cold glass of beer after work!

JUST WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED
– exactly what is required, especially for health or comfort.
This chilled glass of beer is just what the doctor ordered!!!

今週末のレッスン内容 – Asking a favour

Hello everyone in this weekend’s classes in our Ropponmatsu, Akasaka and Yakuin classrooms our subject will be “asking a favour”. It’s something very practical as we need to ask each other favours quite usually I think, especially in the workplace.

Students should be able to ask, grant, and refuse favours casually but politely. Use I “have to” and understand the difference between by and until.

みなさんこんにちは。六本松校、赤坂校、そして薬院校での今週末のレッスンのトピックは、「お願い事」です。今回のレッスンは、普段お願い事をする時、特に職場などではとても実用的なものだと思います。

生徒のみなさんは、お願い事、承諾する、そして、断ることをカジュアルに、でも丁寧にしてください。”I have to”を使って、「by/~までに」と「until/~まで」の使い分けましょう。

ケンジントン英会話ニュース – Yakuin School Group Lessons in July/August

Hello everyone, regarding the Yakuin classroom schedule in July and August.

１）July 31st level 1 class will be open after all
２）August 2nd group classes will be closed
３）We’ll have an extra level 1 class on August 10th at 11:30 in the morning.
４）School will be closed from August 15th to August 21st
５）Students can take 3 classes in August and 5 classes in September if they’d like.

ケンジントン英会話ニュース – 7月/8月の薬院校のグループレッスンのスケジュール

みなさんこんにちは。7月と8月の薬院校のスケジュールは以下のとおりです。

１）7月31日のレベル１は開校します
２）8月2日のグループレッスンはお休みです。
３）8月10日は、通常はない時間ですが、11:30からレベル1クラスを開校します。
４）8月15日から8月21日までお休みです。
５）スケジュール調整が難しい場合は、8月に3回+9月に5回でレッスン受講が可能となっております。

Naoko’s blog -Summer!!

みなさんこんにちは(^-^)/
早いもので7月ももう17日！！
学生の方はもうすぐ夏休み☀️✨✨✨
みなさん夏の計画はもう立ててありますか♪？

夏と言えば、海に山にBBQヾ(*´∀｀*)ﾉ

…..と、その前に(´._.｀)
今年は早々と夏バテしてしまいました(笑)
毎朝起きるとダルいダルい(笑)
疲れが取れていないようなので、朝から夏バテ解消の検索をひたすらして、、、

まずは、睡眠✨
そして、お湯に浸かること✨
そういえば、最近、湯船に浸かってなかったです(´._.｀)

後は、やっぱり食事✨
お肉を食べること！
特に豚肉がいいそうで( ´ ▽ ` )

最初の２つは毎日するようにするとして、お肉に関してはひとまず今週末のケンジントンのSummer Partyにてたらふくいただこうと思います( ´ ▽ ` )✨

Summer Partyは今度の日曜日ですよ〜✨

Hi there everyone, today’s business English expression is “ see eye to eye” , which means to agree on something.

For example

I didn’t really see eye to eye with my old boss but I had a lot of respect for her.

Tim and Jaime are the perfect business partnership! They see eye to eye on everything!
