日常英会話レッスン – go on a trip/ go on holiday/
Hello there,
Here is something that my students often get wrong.
I went to trip in Australia. X
We use “go on” like this.
I’m going on a trip to Australia next month.
We are going on holiday next week.
I had to go on 8 business trips last month!
In junior high school, we went on a school trip to Singapore.
As you can see we use “go on” with holiday/ trip/ vacation etc and we use “to” as a preposition in front of the place we are visiting.

シンガポールへ修学旅行に行きました。
ご覧の通り、休日/旅行/休暇には“go on”を使用し、訪問先の前に “to”を前置詞として使用します。
