This week’s subject
Winter 

Hello one and all,

This week’s subject is Winter.

We’re gonna talk about winter activities and customs in Japan, and in doing so, we’ll practice how to modify our sentences! We can add extra information with words like ‘usually, sometimes and always’, or changing ‘I  like’ to ‘I can’t stand’. We’ll also use ‘did you’ and ‘have you’ to talk about last winter and this winter, respectively.

冬について

みなさんこんにちは、

今週のトピックは「冬」です。

私達は今週、日本の冬のアクティビティや習慣について話します。

その中でどうやって文章を修正するかについても練習しましょう！私達は、「usually(普段は)、sometimes（時々）、 always(いつも)」の様に単語に追加の情報を加えたり、「I like to (私は〜が好きだ)」を「I can’t stand(私は〜が我慢できない)」の様にに置き換える事もできます。
去年の冬と今年の冬にそれぞれについて話す時には「did you」「have you」も使います。

What we are doing in Kensington
Kids Academy in January

Hey guys, 

We have two monthly themes for January in our Kid’s academy: Countries and Culture.

I’m excited to share my culture with our young students, and to learn about new ones with them. Learning English unlocks more information to many cultures that we may have not been aware of otherwise.

You can always ask us about our culture in your classes, maybe try some questions like: ‘What is a unique part of your culture? or ‘How is your culture different to Japanese culture?’.

1月のキッズアカデミー

やあみなさん

キッズアカデミーでは、1月は2つのテーマがあります。
「様々な国々」と「文化」についてです。

若い生徒さん達と一緒に、私の文化をシェアしたり、新しい文化を学んだりする事にワクワクしています。英語を学ぶ事は、私達がまだ知らない沢山の情報の扉を開ける鍵となります。

レッスン中、いつでも私達の文化について質問する事ができます、
例えばこんな質問をしてみましょう。

あなたの文化独特の部分は何ですか？とか、あなたの文化と日本の文化はどの様に違いますか？など。
