Ehime Birthday Trip
During my Golden Week break, I went to Ehime for 3 days as a birthday trip, and it was great.
My intention was to visit two castles – Ozu and Matsuyama. Both were incredible to see for me, and I was delighted to see so many historical artifacts like armour worn by lords of the time, weaponry such as spears, swords, daggers and so on, and architectural designs and locations. I also went to Garyu Sanso, an ancient cottage in the deep country side of Ehime. It was beautiful and I highly recommend it.
I was also lucky enough to see an exhibition at the art museum, showing off masterwork katana from all across Japan. I couldn’t take photos, but it was amazing seeing how well crafted the swords and parts were.
The trip overall was wonderful – Ehime’s food was fantastic and if you really enjoy history, particularly regarding Samurai, architecture and weaponry, Ehime is a fantastic choice.

愛媛へのバースデー旅行
ゴールデンウィークにバースデー旅行として愛媛に3日間行ったのですが、素晴らしかったです。
旅の目的は小津城と松山城の二つの城を訪ねることでした。
どちらも私にとっては素晴らしく、当時の領主が身につけていた鎧、槍、剣、短剣などの武器、建築のデザインや場所など、多くの歴史的遺物を見ることができて嬉しく思いました。
臥龍山荘と呼ばれる古い山荘にも行きましたが、とても綺麗でみなさんも行ってみることを強くおすすめします。
また、幸運にも美術館の展示会で全国の傑作な刀が披露されていました。
写真は撮れませんでしたが、刀やパーツの作り方が素晴らしかったです。
この旅行は全体的に素晴らしいものとなりました。愛媛の食べ物も素晴らしいものでした。
もし、武士、建築、武器などの歴史に興味があるなら、愛媛は素晴らしい選択です。
