Talk about myself/my hometown/my country
Mt Fuji here I come!
Finally after 3 years of talking about it I am on my way to climbing Mt Fuji! Yeehaa. I missed the climbing season in 2019 and you can imagine what went wrong in 2020 and 2021 so this is the year that I’m finally going to do it. I can’t wait!
It’s been a very long time since I climbed a mountain so I’m in the process of getting in shape for it. I did a 10 kilometre run yesterday followed by kickboxing in the afternoon and I can certainly say I feel all of my 43 years today if not slightly older. I usually keep myself in pretty good condition but from what I remember of the last time I did a long climb there is almost nothing harder and I want to be over prepared for it. Two of my good friends who lived in Fukuoka before are coming back for a few days and we are going to do it together and after we come back down we will be making a pilgrimage to the Baird Beer Brewery in Numazu City for some well earned refreshment.

富士山へ行きます！
3年言い続けてついに富士登山へ！イーハー！
私は2019 年の登山シーズンを逃し、また2020 年と 2021 年に何がうまくいかなかったかは想像に難くありません。
というわけで、今年はいよいよやります。楽しみです！
山に登るのは久しぶりなので、いま体調を整えているところです。
昨日は 10 km のランニングを行った後、午後はキックボクシングを行ったので、自分の体が43歳であることを痛感しました。それ以上に感じるほどでした。
常にとても良い状態に保てていると思いますが、最後に登山をしたときのことを思い返すと、あれ以上困難なことはないほど大変だったので、今回は十分に準備したいと思っています。
以前福岡に住んでいた私の良き友人 2 人が数日間戻ってくるので、私たちは一緒に登山を行う予定です。
登山が終わったら、気分を爽快にするために、沼津のベアードビール醸造所に巡礼します。
