to action/ actionable
Hi there everyone,
Today’s business expression may seem a little strange because we don’t usually use action as a verb but in business English it is sometimes used this way. It simply means to do/ to be possible.
For example
Your idea of giving the students access to their folders is great! Let’s action that ASAP.
I also like the idea of them being able to contact us 24/7 with any questions regarding English they may have but I don’t think it is actionable just now.

みなさんこんにちは
今日のビジネス表現は少し奇妙に見えるかもしれません。
通常は「action」を動詞として使いますが、ビジネス英語では時々こういった使い方をします。それはシンプルに、「行う/行うことが可能」という意味です。
例えば
Your idea of giving the students access to their folders is great! Let’s action that ASAP.
（生徒さんに個人フォルダーを与えるというあなたのアイデアは素晴らしいよ！すぐにやろう」
I also like the idea of them being able to contact us 24/7 with any questions regarding Enlgish they may have but I don’t think it is actionable just now.
（私は、生徒さん達は英語に関するどんなことでも、年中無休で質問できるようになる、というアイデアも気にいっています、でも現在のところ実現可能ではないと思います。）
