The subject this weekend in our schools in the Fukuoka area is environment and as such today I’ll introduce you a nature-related idiom.
It’s “barking up the wrong tree” and it means to be wrong about the reason you do something or about the way to achieve something.
ex. She thinks that it’s all Tomoko’s fault but I think she’s totally barking up the wrong tree.
